"Born and raised in Rome, Italy, I was first introduced to fantasy as a child - I was sick at home and my father bought a copy of "The Hobbit" for me to read to pass the time. I was fascinated by Tolkien and read "Lord of the Rings" when I was 12. That book was what birthed in me the impulse to write.

In the next few years, my love of writing intertwined with my newfound fascination with role-playing games and in hindsight, it was only a matter of time until the two would join into one. This happened when during a game with some good friends of mine I first created the sketch of what would later become the Twin Worlds, a full-fledged setting which I have been painstakingly building ever since, and which I began to use as a background to my stories, finding this a way to both showcase the world and explore it, adding to its depth. Many important things in the Twin Worlds have appeared because they came to me through a story or another; such as the Saelvir, which I first met when writing "North Star".

One of the most rewarding parts of writing and of setting my tales in the Twin Worlds is the thrill of discovery itself - and the pleasure of seeing one's own creation taking a life of its own.
